911 Emergency

We came to Richfield for a couple days and we had interesting morning. I was chatting with my mom in her bedroom and Josh was sitting on the floor entertaining himself with the telephone. He would push a few buttons and then put the phone to his hear and jabber. Soon, the phone rang. I answered it and they said on the other end, "Hi. This is 911 dispatch. We've just had a hang up call from this phone. Is everything okay?" I wanted to die! Of course, everything was fine. I apologized again and again. Then she hung up. A few minutes later, the doorbell rang. It was a police officer. He was just following up on the 911 emergency phone call. We told him it was just the baby that called and so he asked if he could see him. He thinks he wants to talk to him about it. We take the officer down the hall and into the kitchen where Josh is sitting on the floor eating cereal. The officer laughs and says, "Well, he looks a little young to talk to." We were laughing and telling Josh that the officer came to tell him, "No no no!" The officer was really nice and said that they always have to follow up on the phone calls, no matter what the reason. Good to know that they are looking out for everyong and we were glad they were so nice about a funny accident!

I think each mother has to have the experience at least once! How embarrassing that he showed up! Too funny!

That is so funny. I get a little nervous about Easton and his dialing but phones definately are good entertainment, and the fake ones just don't see to work as good as the real ones.

Melissa I can't believe that happened! You didn't tell me that. That is so funny and scary at the same time. Good thing Josh is so cute!
