Trip back East

We went on a fun road trip recently with some good friends.  We drove to Winter Quarters, Nauvoo, Branson (where Cliff served his mission), Carthage Jail and Liberty Jail, and Adam-ondi-ahman.  It was really fun and relaxing and we learned so much and had a great time.  Lucky for us, Josh stayed with his grandma.  I don't think either of us could have handled him during the 3,200 mile trip.  Below is picture at Adam-ondi-ahman.

This is a picture of Andrea and I at a show we went to in Branson.  Branson was a fun place to go to and we were able to go to two shows.  The two guys below were the joke tellers in one show.  They made the show.  The music wasn't that great, but they were funny!
We ate at Cliff's favorite restaurant in Missouri.  It's Lampert's- home of the throwed rolls.  It was delicious. They throw hot rolls to anyone who wants one and serve five other items to everyone just as appetizers.  Then we got our food and there was tons of it!  We were stuffed and I didn't even eat a third of my plate.  I would go back again though.  I loved it!
We loved seeing the temple and the inside is beautiful.  I loved this picture of the temple with the tulips.  We went at a perfect time because all the church grounds were covered in beautiful colorful tulips!

Cliff Graduated...YEA!!

We had an exciting weekend- Cliff graduated!  Yea!  He now has a Master of Social Work degree.  Pres. Uchtdorf and Elder Russell M. Nelson were the speakers and it was excellent.  I think there were over 6,000 graduates and they filled up half of the Marriott Center.  It was quite a site to see them all.  The program was just like General Conference, except that there was applause at the end of the talks.  It was a good reminder of what is important.  They told everyone to rely on the Lord, pay their tithing, be worthy of the spirit, and have faith.  I really enjoyed it.
Yea!  Go Cougars!  Way to go Cliff!

This is at the college graduation.  Elder Todd D. Christofferson was there and this is Cliff shaking his hand.

Easter

We had a fun Easter.  I thought Josh looked so handsome in his new church clothes. He definitely took his time finding the few eggs we put out on the grass for him.  It was good that it was a warm day.  Today we woke up to at least 6 inches of heavy snow!

Shouts of for Cliff who is turning in his last and final assignment of his masters program tomorrow!
