THE UTE STAMPEDE

In July we went with the Whatcotts to the Ute Stampede!  Josh loved watching all those animals beat up on the cowboys! He clapped and cheered almost the whole time. Now when he rides his horse at home, he usually makes sure he has his cowboy hat on.  What a kid!

SEVIER COUNTY...HOME AT LAST

ATV_Trees.jpg

Well, we did it!  We moved away from Provo...a while ago!  We both found jobs in Sevier County and are really excited about it.  Melissa is teaching Geometry and Algebra at South Sevier High School (GO RAMS!!). She enjoys it, but is really busy!  So it goes when you have to correct all those assignments and tests. Cliff is working for the State of Utah at the Dept. of Workforce services. The best part is that we are both close to family!  We feel like we have been extremely blessed since we have moved here.

Trip back East

We went on a fun road trip recently with some good friends.  We drove to Winter Quarters, Nauvoo, Branson (where Cliff served his mission), Carthage Jail and Liberty Jail, and Adam-ondi-ahman.  It was really fun and relaxing and we learned so much and had a great time.  Lucky for us, Josh stayed with his grandma.  I don't think either of us could have handled him during the 3,200 mile trip.  Below is picture at Adam-ondi-ahman.

This is a picture of Andrea and I at a show we went to in Branson.  Branson was a fun place to go to and we were able to go to two shows.  The two guys below were the joke tellers in one show.  They made the show.  The music wasn't that great, but they were funny!
We ate at Cliff's favorite restaurant in Missouri.  It's Lampert's- home of the throwed rolls.  It was delicious. They throw hot rolls to anyone who wants one and serve five other items to everyone just as appetizers.  Then we got our food and there was tons of it!  We were stuffed and I didn't even eat a third of my plate.  I would go back again though.  I loved it!
We loved seeing the temple and the inside is beautiful.  I loved this picture of the temple with the tulips.  We went at a perfect time because all the church grounds were covered in beautiful colorful tulips!
