911 Emergency

We came to Richfield for a couple days and we had interesting morning. I was chatting with my mom in her bedroom and Josh was sitting on the floor entertaining himself with the telephone. He would push a few buttons and then put the phone to his hear and jabber. Soon, the phone rang. I answered it and they said on the other end, "Hi. This is 911 dispatch. We've just had a hang up call from this phone. Is everything okay?" I wanted to die! Of course, everything was fine. I apologized again and again. Then she hung up. A few minutes later, the doorbell rang. It was a police officer. He was just following up on the 911 emergency phone call. We told him it was just the baby that called and so he asked if he could see him. He thinks he wants to talk to him about it. We take the officer down the hall and into the kitchen where Josh is sitting on the floor eating cereal. The officer laughs and says, "Well, he looks a little young to talk to." We were laughing and telling Josh that the officer came to tell him, "No no no!" The officer was really nice and said that they always have to follow up on the phone calls, no matter what the reason. Good to know that they are looking out for everyong and we were glad they were so nice about a funny accident!

Happy New Year

We spent Christmas in Kanosh.  Cliff's whole family came and we enjoyed spending time with everyone.  We ate delicious food, played lots of games, went tubing, and just had lots of fun!

Josh got a basketball hoop for Christmas.  He loves it and it keeps him entertained for so long!
Josh also loves his snow shovel.  He loves to follow his dad and clear all the sidewalks.  He could be out there for hours if we let him.  When we finally come inside, he starts shoveling the kitchen floor!

We have had such a wonderful break.  It has been fun to have Cliff around more often.  Too bad school starts again on Monday, but I guess that is good too- the sooner we start, the sooner we finish!  Graduation is just around the corner.

Let It Snow!

Part of our job as managers of the apartments of where we live is to keep the sidewalks cleared of snow.  What a job!  Last year had lots of little snow falls and it looks like it will be the same this year.  This week we have shoveled twice and it looks like many more times in the next week!  Josh wasn't sure about the snow, but the longer we were out there, the more he liked it.  It takes a while to shovel the snow, but I always think that a new snow fall is so beautiful.  Let it snow!

Yum Yum Yum!

Josh always wants to feed himself, so I say go for it!  I gave him some yogurt and a spoon, and hopefully he got some inside of him.  He didn't use the spoon- he just kept it in his left hand.  He preferred scooping the yogurt in his right hand and trying to get it in his mouth.  It went everywhere but it kept him entertained for a while!  Yum, yum yum!
